University Orthopedics currently located in Barrington, East Greenwich, Middletown and Providence will add a permanent home at Longplex. This regional referral center for patients with back and neck pain, joint pain, sports medicine problems, shoulder pain, hand problems, hip and knee pain, and foot and ankle injuries will occupy half of the third floor providing orthopedic care to our members and community.
Currently, University Orthopedics includes more than 30 board-certified orthopedic surgeons who are fellowship-trained, the highest level of medical training. These specialists are clinical professors on the faculty of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. At Brown, the UOI physicians train new doctors and lead the way with the latest advances in both orthopedic surgery and injury prevention. Members of Longplex will have easy access to these specialists at this new location.
